The High Level Liquid Probe is a reliable liquid level monitoring device designed to detect excessive liquid levels in a wide range of drainage and wastewater applications. Suitable for use in separators, storage tanks, washdown units, cesspools and wastewater treatment systems, this probe provides an early warning when liquid levels exceed the predetermined limit, helping to prevent overflows and operational problems. Utilising a simple and dependable float switch mechanism, the probe activates when the liquid reaches a specified level and sends an alarm signal directly to a compatible control panel. This allows operators to take immediate action before a high-level condition becomes a more serious issue. Although visually identical to a High Oil Probe, this sensor is specifically designed for high liquid level detection and should be used for liquid monitoring applications.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Designed for high liquid level monitoring
  • Suitable for tanks, separators, washdown units and cesspools
  • Simple and reliable float switch operation
  • Provides an alarm signal when liquid reaches a high level
  • Supplied with 5 metres of cable as standard
  • Can be retrofitted to most existing systems
  • Flexible strain relief cable gland for improved durability
  • Easy to install and maintain
  • Cost-effective liquid level monitoring solution

Typical Applications

  • Oil and grease separators
  • Wastewater treatment systems
  • Storage tanks
  • Pump chambers
  • Cesspools
  • Washdown and wash bay systems
  • Commercial and industrial drainage installations

Technical Benefits

  • Early warning of potential overflow conditions

How It Works

The probe is suspended at the required monitoring level within the tank or chamber. When the liquid rises and lifts the float switch, an alarm signal is sent to the control panel, providing a clear warning that the liquid level has exceeded the designated operating range. The High Level Liquid Probe provides a simple, dependable and cost-effective solution for monitoring liquid levels and protecting drainage and wastewater systems from overflow conditions.
