Measuring the invert (inlet) height for your vessel

Different sewage treatment systems have different invert heights available, which matches the suitable height of your inlet drainage pipe. For example, the Klargester BioDisc offers a 450mm, 750mm or 1250mm invert with the 1250mm invert system being the deepest (and therefore more expensive) model due to the extra size of the chambers.

To identify the correct invert height for your property, you need to measure from the bottom of the inlet pipe to ground level. The different invert heights match the site topography and can minimise the excavation depth. If your property has not yet been built, your architect or building engineer should have a drainage layout which indicates the invert levels. Alternatively, you may need to organise a site visit for your installer to help calculate the appropriate invert height.
