Air Blower Warranty & Maintenance
All air blowers supplied by Direct Drainage are genuine products sourced directly from leading manufacturers and are covered by a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty.
Routine Maintenance
Air blowers are mechanical products designed to operate continuously and require routine maintenance throughout their service life. Manufacturers specify that serviceable components such as diaphragms, air filters and other consumable parts must be inspected and replaced at the intervals set out in the manufacturer's installation and maintenance instructions, typically every 6 to 12 months, depending on operating conditions.
These components are subject to normal wear and are considered routine maintenance items. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that the air blower is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and that serviceable parts are replaced when required.
Failure to carry out routine maintenance, including the replacement of worn diaphragms, clogged air filters or other consumable components, may result in premature failure of the air blower. Where a fault is found to have been caused by inadequate maintenance or failure to replace serviceable components, the manufacturer may decline the warranty claim as the failure would not be considered a defect in materials or workmanship.
To support any warranty claim, customers may be asked to provide evidence that routine maintenance has been carried out, together with photographs or details of the condition of serviceable components. Failure to provide the requested information may delay or prevent the manufacturer from assessing the claim.
Warranty Claims
If your air blower develops a fault during the manufacturer's warranty period, please notify Direct Drainage as soon as possible. You may then be required to complete a Warranty Claim Form.
As a supplier, we are required to follow the manufacturer's warranty process. This often includes requesting information regarding the installation, operation and maintenance of the product, together with the completion of basic troubleshooting checks.
For air blowers, this may include inspection of serviceable components such as the diaphragms, as these are one of the most common causes of reduced performance or complete failure. These checks form part of the manufacturer's diagnostic process and help determine whether the issue relates to a warrantable manufacturing defect or a component that has reached the end of its normal service life.
Inspection & Assessment
Direct Drainage is a supplier of air blowers and replacement parts. We are not an authorised repair or servicing centre and do not dismantle, inspect or diagnose customer-owned equipment.
Where further assessment is required, products may need to be inspected by the manufacturer or our authorised supplier in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty procedures. Any repair, replacement or warranty decision is made following their technical assessment of the product.
