SPEL ST800-5 Vehicle Wash Silt Trap – 5 Tonne (Facta B)
SPEL Vehicle Wash Silt Traps are installed right in the area where the washing activity happens with the galvanised grating being installed at ground level with all of the washdown water running into the silt trap via this open top grating. The Vehicle Wash Silt Trap is usually installed upstream of a SPEL Vehicle Washdown Separator. This is a great upstream option because it captures the bulk of the silts and because of its large opening (the top grating opens on a hinge) it has great access for very easy silt removal, meaning that the SPEL Vehicle Washdown Separator downstream does not have to be emptied as often.
This Vehicle Wash Silt Trap comes with a Facta B (5 Tonne) grating for use with light vans and cars. A Facta D (12 Tonne) grating is available for HGVs and similar.
